Objects Worth Keeping
5 min read

Most of what passes through our hands, we let go. Curation is mostly the art of saying no — to the over-bright, the over-treated, the merely impressive.
What we keep tends to share a few qualities: honesty of material, a form that rewards a second look, and a quietness that lets it live in a room without dominating it.
We avoid anything that needs a story to justify it. The object should be enough on its own.
An object worth keeping is one you would still want a decade from now — not because of what it promises, but because of what it is.
